Vickie has been providing multisport coaching for over 20 years, participating in triathlon coaching and racing from sprint to IM distances. She started as a Team and Training Coach, and then emerged to become a USAT L1 Coach in 2005, and LII in 2008. Vickie works with all levels and all ages and has trained and led many individuals and groups to a healthier lifestyle, not just for a season, but for life. Vickie is currently Head Coach at Duke University Club Triathlon Team and is enjoying the experience. She uses an 80/20 approach to endurance/intensity training and helps clients to become strong mentally and physically, promoting a balanced life approach, with guidance to support healthy eating, strength/functional training, improving stress management, allowing for adequate recovery and rest, and tapping into the Nervous system. We were born to move and be strong and we can improve our mobility and strength. We can reach our goals through good balance, good movement, good rest and good breath. Vickie also worked many years in a corporate role, mostly HR and IT and can relate and connect to many backgrounds and career minded people. She loves helping people grow in the office and on field.
