I swam as a kid, ran cross country and track in high school and college. I started bike racing while in college. Raced duathlon in college and had some success. Decided after to college to put all three sports together and compete in triathlon. Later I was asked to coach others and decided to educate myself to become a better coach. Now I am a US Master Swimming Level II coach, American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) Level III coach, NCEP certified personal trainer, Equinox Level III personal trainer and group fitness instructor.
