SaBaR Triathlon
is a non profit, volunteer driven youth triathlon and multisport training program based in Norman, Oklahoma and serving any interested youth of Central Oklahoma.Our Mission is to provide information, support services, training, & racing activities to young athletes of all ages.
Our Goal is to promote the lifestyle of triathlon in a healthy, competitive family atmosphere while promoting sportsmanship, team skills and encouraging the spirit of giving.
We seek to partner with and support organizations whose purpose is to improve health and wellness of our local families and children.
SaBaR Youth Triathlon Club is a charitable non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Oklahoma (SaBaR). SaBaR is preparing to file its 501(c)(3) application and anticipates IRS approval by September 2012.
SaBaR Triathlon is open to all interested athletes regardless of age and skill level and covers a variety of recreation and competitive sport pursuits for young triathletes.
Raynee Toles

Raynee comes from an athletic background of softball, basketball and track. She attended Northern Oklahoma Junior College on a softball scholarship where she was an Academic and Softball All-American. She graduated in 1997 with an A.S. in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. She then transferred to the University of Oklahoma to finish her academic and softball career, and graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in Health and Sports Science.
After college, Raynee began running distances of 5k to full marathon because she wanted to challenge herself. It wasnt until the ripe age of 30 that she decided to do a triathlon because she was dared to by her running group. She has completed triathlon distance up to the Half Iron and is currently training for her first full Iron Man. She has won her age group, placed in the top 3 in many local races and also qualified for the Sprint and Olympic Age Group National Championships in 2011 and 2012.
One of the things I love about triathlon is the fact my husband Chance and daughter Pasley also race. It keeps it exciting and fun and is something we can do as a family. I have always loved coaching and working with kids. Having a daughter of my own, I want to empower (not only her), but other kids by showing them the athletic and charitable opportunities that are available to them thru sports.

Corinne Young
Corie, aka Sabar Team Velocity Director
Corie comes from a High School track background, way back when.... after many years off and having 3 children, she started back into running to get healthy and fundraise for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with Team in Training. Running was a great outlet for a mom with 3 very young children! The running challenge started with a half marathon, and then the full marathon, then triathlon with husband Patrick.... In the first few months of training for triathlon, having to learn to swim and bike and race, the challenge and variety proved to be so exciting and hard and rewarding, that is was quickly apparent that it was just the beginning of a love affair with the sport! Just 20 months later, she completed Ironman Wisconsin 2011 in honor of 140 people affected by blood cancers, and now has sights set on Qualifying for the Ironman World Championship in Kona. She has won or placed top 3 age group and overall categories in a variety of events, from marathon to sprint tris and duathlons, is a Boston Marathon Qualifier and was recently announced USAT Top 20 Age Group Duathlon, and qualified for the 2012 Olympic Nationals.
Her husband is also an Ironman, completing Ironman Arizona in 2011 and all 3 children love to Swim, Bike, and Run, and it is truly a family sport. They all practice and play and support each other in every part of it and know that it can be a part of their lives for years and years to come.
The training and planning and coaching aspect has become a favorite part of the sport, and Corie enjoys helping her friends create new goals and training regimens. She also created and coaches a weekly elementary running club to encourage movement and strength while training for local 5ks and mile fun runs.
Every year- supporting Team In Training, GoMitchGo and other cancer organizations through racing is a commitment Corie has made to raise awareness and inspire others to step outside their comfort zones, while sharing goals of family health and active lifestyles.
