Age group swimmer from age 4 thru college. Ran High school track in 800m and mile. Started racing triathlons in Wilmington, NC in 1984 while working as a Chemical Engineer for General Electric. Moved to Austin, TX in 1988 and have stayed! No longer working as an engineer as I have transitioned to full time coaching.
