Two years after transforming from a couch potato to a marathon runner, she decided to try a triathlon. She was hooked and has completed dozens of road races and triathlons. Wanting to encourage others to change from a sedentary lifestyle to an active one and to share her new passions, Coach Andrea began coaching beginning runners in 2002 and triathletes through the inauguaral Team Danskin Houston in 2006. She is a HeartZones Triathlon, USATriathlon Level 1 Certified, and USACycling Level 3 Certified coach. Convinced that anyone can begin to change her lifestyle with regular aerobic exercise, Coach Andrea is excited to give back to the triathlon community and women's sports by supporting new athletes.
