I am a USAT Level I certified triathlon coach, a certified Total Immersion swim coach, and a Heart Zones Level I Certified Personal Trainer and use the Heart Zones Training System to help you get the most out your training. I am also a Beachbody Coach and use programs like P90X and Insanity to take your training to the next level.
I focuse on form and efficiency first in all three sports. There are no junk miles or garbage yards with B.A.S.E Training. When you train with me, you will learn technique as well as volume and intensity.
I offer five different levels of triathlon coaching (all plans delivered in Training Peaks) as well as private swim lessons to meet your specific goals and needs as a triathlete. My coaching services are aimed at those that are new to triathlon or are looking to move up from a beginner to an intermediate triathlete but I am willing to work with anyone.
Private training sessions included in my coaching packages are approximately 1 hr and can be in the triathlon discipline of your choice or can be in a cross-training sport or activity (strength training, core work, plyometrics, racquetball, etc.). Private training sessions can take place wherever you wish in the Kitsap area (lakes for open water swimming, parks for runs, open roads for bikes, etc.).
I did my first triathlon in 2005 after losing over 80 pounds. I caught the triathlon bug and never looked back. I started B.A.S.E. training in 2010 to share my love for triathlon with others.
