Triathlon, running, overall condition and motivation.
JP began his coaching career several years ago with the Chicago Tomahawks, a special needs hockey team. He continues to volunteer with the Tomahawks and is currently the head coach at Loyola Academy for the Varsity Maroon squad. After using spin classes for Adventure Racing training, he became an instructor himself. He continues to teach spin out of the Evanston Athletic Club. Additionally, he has NASM Personal Trainer certification, USAT Level I and is currently studying for his USA Cycling Level III qualification. Since 2001, he has run 13 marathons (including 2 Ultras), finished several adventure races (including one that lasted 66 hours), along with completing multiple other running, cycling and triathlon races. JP is currently training for the 2008 Wisconsin Ironman. The motto that JP has lived by for the past several years is, if the mind is willing the body is able. That is what he wants his clients to believe after working with him.
