Swim video analysis, training, works outs written for you in an Endless Pool located at 10,000 feet. Highest pool in America!! Located close to trails for mountain biking, and running right from the door of my studio so you can do focused training in all disciplines of triathlon.
I am a swim coach freestyle specialist that focuses on mechanics of all strokes. My philosophy of swimming starts with teaching the rhythm of your stroke, kicking, and expand that into how to use your stroke, breath control, and body position in all competitive strokes. I also believe you should learn freestyle, but also practice butterlfy, backstroke and breaststroke in your training regime in order to prevent injury due to overuse of muscle groups. I also coach on transitions, cycling, and running for proper training to do your best in the triathlon world.
I was a competitive swimmer in college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I was an All American in 1998 and 1999 in the 200 freestyle. I was a freestyle specialist and have been a swim coach for beginner to Olympic level athletes since 1998. I have coached beginner level swimmers from children to adults as old as 60 how to swim and use that ability in triathlons. I coached the club team of Olympic gold medalist, Missy Franklin the year before she went to college (2012-2013). I have coached some athletes to high level placement in triathlon as high as Iron Man Kona.
