As a tenured executive leader, I served as the chief of police and emergency management director in the Seattle area. I hold a master's degree in forensic psychology. As a USA Triathlon Level 2 certified coach, I enjoy helping experienced athletes and aspiring novices from every background meet new challenges safely, efficiently, and effectively. In addition to my USAT coaching credentials, I am also an American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) Level 5 certified coach. An ASCA Level 5 certification is the highest certification level that swimming coaches can achieve in the United States.
