After being cancelled/postponed for the past two years, the Tynman Triathlon/Duathlon is back! This is a great event for your first triathlon or duathlon.
Packet Pick-Up and Day-Of Registration begins at 0630 on Race Day.
Although the event is not USAT Sanctioned, all USAT rules and regulations will apply.

Course Info:

The entire course is on base: 0.3 mile swim in the bay, 12 mile bike and a 3.1 mile run on base roadways. Duathlon competitors will replace the swim with a 1.5 mile beach run.

Directions:
|
(coming from the west):
Head East on HWY 98. Take a right on Sabre to enter the base. Pass through the gate and continue on Sabre as it curves to the right. Take a left onto Prime Beef. Prime Beef will end in a T-Intersection with Beacon Beach. Take a right onto Beacon Beach, quickly followed by a left onto Eagle. Take Eagle as it curves to the right. Check-in/transition area will be at the corner of Eagle and Sabre.
(coming from the east):
Head West on HWY 98. Take a left on Sabre to enter the base. Pass through the gate and continue on Sabre as it curves to the right. Take a left onto Prime Beef. Registration for the Tynman is open to the public! Even if you are not a DoD Cardholder, you can still participate.
The event is sponsored by the Tyndall AFB Company Grade Officer Council. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Combined Federal Campaign (as an undesignated contribution) and the Tyndall AFB CGOC. The Tyndall AFB CGOC is a private organization. It is not part of the Department of Defense or any of its components and it has no governmental status.
