2013 Greater Gator Triathlon:

3rd Annual Greater Gator Olympic Triathlon.

Olympic Distance race held at beautiful Boerne Lake in the Hill Country just 25 miles northwest of San Antonio.

The Lake swim is in clear water and is a triangle course.

The 24.5 mile bike is on country roads in the beautiful scenic hill country with one hill called heartbreak hill at the 6 mile mark.

The run is relatively flat on pavement and offroad.

Race is capped at 300 so sign up early

Fat Tire Division for Mountain Bike Owners

Course Information:

Swim: 1500 meter 1 person time trial start, clear water, triangle course

Bike: 24.5 miles of rolling hills in the beautiful hill country

Run: 6 miles of pavement and offroad, relatively flat course. Run on the Dam

Directions:

Directions:

North on IH10 from San Antonio, exit Ranger Creek Road, mile marker # 538.

Left on Ranger Creek Road, under the freeway and then an immediate right turn on the IH10 access road.

Head north and then take a left on Upper Cibolo Rd. Proceed on Upper Cibolo and then take a left into the park.

Excellant Post Race food including the World Famous Kilobassa Sausage.
