I have done a few Iron Distance events and this one has got to be one of the worst. They were not organized (they changed both the bike and the run route the morning of the race). Their aid stations on the bike had NO FOOD (although there website said there would be some). The bike course was very bumpy. The run was super hot (85 degrees) and both the run and bike had tons of cars going by. However, my biggest complaint is that there was NO MEDICAL on site. No medical tent, no EMT, nothing. This is very scary since you never know what can happen during a race (and last year a runner did get hit by a car). I would not recommend this company for now. Wait a few more years and see if they get their act together.
