The 2Du is the first ever of its kind 2 person team duathlon.
Bicyclers and runners start together. Bicycler rides 3 miles to first aid station, parks bike and takes off on foot toward second aid station. Runner runs to 1st aid station, mounts team bike, rides past team member to second aid station, parks bike and takes off on foot. Team members "leap frog" like this to finish line. Each member runs and bikes 5 1/4 miles total.

10 1/2 mile scenic loop course, mostly flat, with a few rolling hills, each team
member runs 5 1/4 miles and bikes 5 1/4 miles total: one team member starts on
a bicycle, the other on foot, bicycler rides 3 miles to 1st aid station, parks bicycle
and takes off on foot about 3 miles to 2nd aid station. Other team member runs
3 miles to 1st aid station, mounts the teams bicycle, rides to 2nd aid station, parks
bicycle and takes off again on foot. Teams leap frog to finish line at Community
Center, the last team member to cross the finish line places the team.
Course Information:
10 1/2 mile scenic loop course. Mostly flat with some rolling hills. Starts and ends at Winters Community Center where a farmers market is being held
Directions:
Winters is about 25 minutes from Vacaville, Woodland, Dixon and Davis. About 40 minutes from Sacramento and Fairfield. Located just off the 505.
Other Info:
Lots to do after the race. Bring family and friends for raffle (including a bicycle), farmers market, the Clayground ceramics studio, historic downtown.
