The Dirty Duathlon is a Run - Mountain Bike - Run Race!
There will be 10-year age groups beginning with 19 and under and ending with 70+ for male and female individuals.
Awards will be presented three-deep in each 10-year age group, with Overall Special Awards for first Male and Female finisher.
For Relay Teams there will be first place for each division: male, female, and coed teams. Included for each competitor is a post race meal of hot soup or chili with fruit, cookies and beverage.

Run The 2 mile run course is the same for both legs of the race. The course will run on granite paths, single track trails, and a small section on pavement with an aid station at the start of the run and the half way point.
Bike - The 6.5 mile mountain bike course has all types of terrain: single track, hills, sand, mud and dirt, combined with beautiful scenery on the trails at Folsom Lake.
Transition Area - The Transition area will be on a first-come basis. The transition area at all TBF Racing events is for athletes only. All non-athletes must remain outside of the transition area at all times on race day. Bodymarking will be take place at the entrance to the transition area and must be completed before you enter the transition area. Athletes will have their race number marked on their legs and arms and have their age division on their calf.
From the Bay Area take Interstate 80 east to Douglas Blvd.
From Reno take Interstate 80 west to Douglas Blvd.
Granite Bay State Park on Folsom lake is located at the end of Douglas Blvd, 5-6 miles East of I-80. Turn right at the third stop sign after entering the park for the Granite Beach parking lot. There is a $10 vehicle charge for day-use or $125 for an annual pass.
