Arguably the premier springtime Texas Hill Country cycling road event. Routes of 10, 30, 42, 62, and 85 miles over smoothly-surfaced, minimally-trafficked roads.
Registration includes post-ride meal, Luci Baines Johnson-led tour of historical landmarks in the national park at 2:30 PM, and ranger-led tour of the Texas White House. This ride is billed as "A Ride to Preserve History".

Course Information:
The routes of 10, 30 42, 62, and 85 miles take riders over minimally-trafficked ranch-market roads and bucolic country lanes. Rural, restored Gillespie County schools serve as rest stops at three locations on the routes.

All net proceeds go to the Friends of LBJ National Historical Park, a 501c3 non-profit, to be used exclusively for the betterment of the national park.

1400 riders attended the 2012 edition of this event.
