Previously XTERRA Trail Run Portland , the Oregon Series Championship race is the final of the Oregon Series. Though awarded XTERRA points will have the same value throughout each race of the series, it is here at the Series Championship, where the male and female age group XTERRA Trail Run Oregon Series Champions will be crowned. You dont have to be the fastest, just the most consistent.
Just like last year there will be two races. The main event is the half marathon. A one loop course around beautiful Hagg Lake will be sure to challenge even the most seasoned runners, but still be kind enough on the rookies.
One clockwise loop around the Hagg Lake Trail. You will make your way through open meadow trails, closed canopy, and some of the most scenic old growth forests in Oregon. It is a moderately hilly trail, with some short steep climbs and descents, roots, rocks and bridges.
Just like the Half Marathon, only shorter. We will send you in the opposite direction (Counterclockwise), onto an epic out and back course.
PLEASE NOTE: POINTS WILL BE AWARDED ONLY FOR THE HALF MARATHON.
