What started out as a single Halloween sprint event in Keller, TX has developed into three, scary sweatfests! A Monster Triathlon (Keller, Texas) a Monster Triathlon (Denton, Texas) and Kids Triathlon (Keller, Texas). 2013 marks the eigth-year for the Monster Kids and Family Triathlon which sells-out with 350 athletes (ages 4-14) months in advance.
The Keller Kids Triathlon is part of the Monster Triathlon weekend and a great way to get the kids involved in the sport of triathlon while benefiting a good cause.
Course Information:
Leap Frogs (4-6 age group):
Swim, 25 yards, bike 1 mile, run 1/3 mile
Road Runners (7-10 age group):
Swim 75 yards, bike 2 miles, run 1 mile
Gladiators (11-13) age group):
Swim 125 yards, bike 3 miles, run 1 mile
Children will swim in the Keller Natatorium, bike on a closed Bear Creek Parkway and run on the beautiful Keller trails.
Children are allowed to use training wheels on their bikes and life vests in the water
