2013 Lake Delta Triathlon:
  • The fourth annual Lake Delta Intermediate and Sprint Distance Triathlon will be held at Lake Delta State Park  on Sunday July 29.
  • The event will begin on the shores of the beach, with a transition area right off the swim area.
  • The 24 mile bike will wind through the rural roads of Westernville, with a run course in the park itself.

    • Course Information:

    Overall, a very fast course.
  • Mirror-like swim.
  • Fast bike course with a few rollers.
  • Finish with a completely flat run.

    • Directions:

  • Take the NYS Thruway to Rome, NY via Exit 32 or 33.
  • Follow the signs for NYS route 46 north and Delta Lake State park is on the left approximately 5 miles outside the city of Rome.
