Make the first day of
2013, one to remember. Thousands of people will set out to do a 5K and end up
starting a movement. Men, women, families, co-workers and neighbors are making
a commitment to live a healthy lifestyle while helping others do the same. Go
ahead, join the movement.
Anybody can participate
in Commitment Day. Its not a race. Its a movement. We invite you to join in.
Inspire those around you. Be the ringleader. Make it a family event. Walk with
your book club. Trot with your neighbors. Commitment Day is about taking the
first step.
Course Information:
Starting at Scottsdale Civic Center heading east towards the greenbelt on the street. Once on the greenbelt, runners will head north on the sidewalk towards the lake. You will make a loop around the lake, bringing you back up to the sidewalk towards Indian School. You will then follow the sidewalk south along Hayden until Osborne. Head west on the sidewalk on Osborne towards Drinkwater Blvd. You will take a right on Drinkwater Blvd. and run past the stadium, under the bridge and back up and to turn right on First Ave. Another right on 75th will take you to the finish line.
Directions:
Parking will be available at the Scottsdale Civic Center parking lot, located north of Second Street on Drinkwater Blvd., as well as Second Street and 75th.
