2013 Historic McKinney Kiwanis Kid's Triathlon:

Saturday, August 3rd, 2013.

It's time to bring out your tri kids for this big DFW youth race!

Hosted by Playtri and the McKinney Kiwanis, this event is sure to be a positive experience for your young athlete.

The course is extremely safe and well-marked, and staffed with helpful and friendly volunteers.

There are lots of great photo opps along the course for family members, and an exciting finish line and post-race party.

The event is professionally chip-timed, with results available online post-race.

Distances By Age Group:

Ages 7 10: 100 yard pool swim 2.5 mile bike 12 mile run

Ades 11-14: 200 yard pool swim 5 mile bike (2 loops) 1 mile run

A GREAT mid season kids tri with a pool swim, safe bike course with only 2 hills, and flat out and back run.

All well-marked and manned with our AWESOME Playtri Racing volunteers!

Race is followed by food, drinks, and POPSICLES for all participants!

All finishers get a cool finisher's medal.

Other Info:

There will also be a sprint triathlon on Sunday August 4, 2013.
