The event will start in waves of 100 people per wave at 10AM from Spruce Lake, beninning with the long course runners. A ride to the start on the Spruce Lake chairlift is included in the entry fee. Please allow 45 minutes to get from the base to the starting line at Spruce Lake! Spectators may ride for $5. The 3.5 mile course (course map with contours here
) goes from Spruce Lake, across the cross country trails to the top of Eagle, down Woodstock, across Explorer to Morning Star then through the woods and across Mardi Gras, down Holiday Run to Edelweiss and finish at the Training Center. The short course elevation has a drop
of 600 feet - downhill! The 5.4 mile course (course map with contours here
) adds a loop from Eagle across to Cindy's, down a logging road to lower Bear Cub and back uphill
to Explorer. This section is so steep we've installed ropes to help you scramble up! You'll navigate eight obstacles along the trail and the final challenge is a giant mud slide down lower Yodeler. Your medal will be awarded at the finish line. Prizes will also be awarded to the overall 3 fastest males and females. Check out this fun video

course is 1/2 mile long and will include 2 obstacles plus the mudslide. Start and finish is at the Training Center. The miniMudslide takes place after the Mudslide is complete, approximately 1:30. Register your child at the start line for $5.
