2012 Panaca Labor Day Warm Water Triathlon - Monday:

  • This is the same event as on Sept. 1, but on Labor Day itself, for those who cannot make the Saturday morning (Sept. 1) event.
  • Same stuff--different day.
  • And, if you participate in the Sept. 1 event, the one on Monday is free!
  • Starting time is 7:00 am--participants meeting at 6:30 am, and sign up/check in starting at 6:00 am.
  • You should sign up on line or at least indicate your participation several days prior to the event.
  • Last day to sign up (and pay) and get a shirt is August 28, 2012.

    • Course Information:



  • We'll swim 300 meters in 85 degree (F) water.
  • Then bike 10 miles (paved roads & trails, so use a road bike).
  • Finish with a 5K run or walk on both dirt and pavement.

    • Directions:



  • We are 100 miles west of St. George, Utah.
  • And 165 miles north of Vegas on Highway 93.

  • Water & snacks afterward are provided.
  • Prizes are from local businesses (food & fuel!).
  • Come and have a great time.
