Superior Pool Youth Triathlon - (age 8 - 13 ) : Kids Race
Aquathlon : Swim 125 Yards, Run 34 Mile

2012 Superior Pool Triathlon:

The Superior Public Pool Triathlon is an outstanding event for every level of triathlete.

Swim:

The swim takes place in a newly renovated 10 lane pool.

There is a warm-up lane to allow preparation right up to the moment you start the serpentine swim leg of the race.

Transition:

An improved transition area and new bike racks will make for faster change overs.

Bike:

The bike course is an out-and-back configuration leaving the pool to the east and out of town on Highway 8.

There are only 5 turns on a flat, well-paved bike segment.

Run:

Runners will head west from the pool on a loop the winds through Lincoln Park and back.

This triathlon is a great event for first time contestants or veterans looking for a fast track to post their best time of the season.

Medals and trophies will be awarded for overall and age-group winners for men and women.

The kid's triathlon will be ran first and consists of a 100 meter swim, 1-mile bike and .5 mile run on a police monitored course.

Course Information:

Swim: 500 meter swim in serpentine pattern.

Bike: 10 miles, extremely flat, well-paved, and very few turns on and out-and back course.

Run: 2 miles, flat, tree-lined loop with only one small hill.

Directions:

Superior is located in south central Nebraska at the intersection of Highways 8 and 14.

It is approximately 120 miles southwest of Lincoln, 60 miles southeast of Hastings and 110 miles north of Salina Kansas.

at the Superior Public Pool.

Kids Race begins at 7:45 a.m. Long Course will begin at the conclusion of the Kids Race.
