2012 Heatwave Classic Triathlon :

  • This year's race will consist of a 12 mile swim in the Ross Barnett Reservoir, a 24 12 mile bike ride along the scenic and historic Natchez Trace Parkway, and ending with a 10K run along Ridgeland's heavily shaded Multi-Use Trail.

  • The swim will be in the Ross Barnett Reservoir
  • The bike ride will be an out and back ride on the Natchez Trace.
  • The run will be along the reservoir and on our multi-purpose trail.

  • From I-55 take the Ridgeland Exit and turn to the east.
  • Take a right on HWY 51
  • Take a left at the first red light (Rice Road)
  • Take a right on Post Road (2nd 3-way stop sign)
  • Take the second right into Old Trace Park
