2012 - J.L. Recreation Center Presents the 1st Annual Rose Canyon Clinic Triathlon:
The J.L. Sorenson Recreation Center presents the 1st Annual Rose Canyon Clinic Triathlon as part of the J.L. Sorenson Race Series.
The Sprint Triathlon will be a 400 M Swim in the South County Pool, 12.4 Bike on the road and on the Jordan Parkaway Trail, a 5k Run Along the Parkway Trail.
The Kids Triathlon will be a 100 M Swim, 3 Mile Bike, and a 1 Mile run. All along the first part of the same courses above.
Couse maps will be posted when available to our webpage.
Entry Fees are as follows:
Sprint Triathlon
$50.00 until Sat., July 14th $55.00 until deadline
Kids Triathlon
(8-12 yrs. only) $30.00 until Sat., July 14th $35.00 until deadline
Awards will be awarded to the top 3 Male, Female, and Children finishers.
There will be a Health Fair following the event and Free Swimming for Particiapnts and Family after the Race.
Participants who participate in all 4 events in the J.L. Sorenson Race Series will recieve a Race Series Medal:
Indoor Tri.: Sat., January 21st 2012
5k/10K: Sat., May 12th 2012
Triathlon: Sat., July 21st 2012
5k/10k: Sat., October 13th 2012
