In an effort to drive
youth participation, USA Triathlon has developed the USAT Youth Splash and Dash
Aquathlon Series with the goal of having a minimum of 30 events as part of the
series. The focus of the series is on participation, not competition. The
series aims to expose youth participants to USA Triathlon and the exciting
world of multisport. Race Distances Ages 7-8 100m swim - 1K run Ages 9-10 100m
swim - 1K run Ages 11-12 200m swim - 2K run Ages 13-15 200m swim - 2K run The
event is a swim/run event divided into age group waves.
