2012 Los Alamos Triathlon:
- As part of the Southwest Challenge series the Los Alamos Triathlon is a tough, hilly course with a unique format consisting of mass bike starts in waves with the swim in the middle.
- Join us for another quality event for all levels of racers: elite and amateur, long-time and first-time, single and team, young and old.
- There will also be a kids triathlon on Sunday, August 19
Course Information:
20K Bike, 400 Meter Swim, 5K Run
- Elevation 7,400.
- Hilly out and bike cycling course.
- 400 meter pool swim (8, 50 meter laps).
- Out and back run.
Directions:
Larry R. Walkup Aquatic Center:
- I-25 North to Santa Fe take the NM285/84 West exit.
- Head West through Santa Fe to Pojoaque and follow Los Alamos NM502 West exit.
- In Los Alamos turn right onto Central Avenue and follow to the Larry R. Walkup Aquatic Center.
