The first Annual Pamoja Challenge, consisting of a team triathlon and a doubles tennis tournament, will take place on June 16th, 2012 at the Adirondack Club in Franklin, MA.. Teams in both competitions will be fundraising and competing on behalf of a child at Flying Kites.
The Pamoja Challenge raises funds and awareness for Flying Kites, an innovative organization that provides orphaned children in Kenya a home, an education and the permission to dream big dreams. Pamoja is the Swahili word meaning together
Each Pamoja Challenge participant will be asked to fund raise a minimum of 300 dollars, due the day of the event. There will be a 25 dollar registration fee required to sign up. The top three fundraisers in both the triathlon and tennis tournament will be awarded prizes such as a week stay at a condominium on Loon Mountain, NH, a Ipad 3, a day of cruising on a 60 foot motor yacht anchored in Cape Cod, and a trip to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak.

Course Information:
The Pamoja Challenge consists of a team-based triathlon and a men's and women's doubles tennis tournament, both occurring on June 16th, 2012.
Teams of six will compete in a sprint distance triathlon, which is comprised of an outdoor 5km run, a 750m swim in outdoor pools, and an indoor 20km ride on stationary bikes. Each individual completes only one leg of the triathlon.

Directions:
While Traveling On Rte 495 South
Take exit 16, at bottom of ramp, take left on to King Street. Follow King Street for approx. 3 miles to intersection of rte 140 (Ford Dealer on left) Cross rte 140, we are located 1.3 miles on right side.
While Traveling On Rte 495 North
Take exit 16, at bottom of ramp, take right on to King Street. Follow King Street for approx 3 miles to intersection of rte 140 (Ford Dealer on left) Cross rte 140, we are located 1.3 miles on right side.
From Rte 95 & Rte 1
Take Rte 140 North through Wrentham Center, follow 140 N in to Franklin. At lights just past Honey Dew Donuts, take right on to Chestnut Street. We are located 1.3 miles down on right side.
From Rte 115
Follow rte 115 to Norfolk Center. At rotary, go 1/4 of the way around on to Main Street. Follow Main Street in to Franklin, when the road forks, bear left, we are 1000' on left at top of hill
