Are you looking for an early season race that all your buddies (those who trained & those that didnt) can come together and brush off the cobwebs? Well this is your opportunity as RMP has partnered with the SIUE campus to host the Try Tri. We will offer both a super sprint, and a long sprint for athletes of all caliber. The pool swim will promise a warm start regardless of the weather, and once you are outside beginners will enjoy the bike routes designated bike lanes, and the paved run course trails that are closed to traffic! Be sure to sign up for the first annual Cougar Tri and get your season started off right with Racemaker Productions!
Course Information:
Pool Swim:
Long Course swimmers will start first and swim down and back in the same lane, then cross over. Super Sprint athletes will start after all long course athletes. They will swim down in one lane, and back in the next. All swimmers will start in approximately 15 second increments; however, as we send athletes we will slow and speed up to maintain a desired distance between athletes. Prior to each event start we will line athletes up according to estimated swim time, please know this when arriving.
*Parents required to ride alongside all U15 youth as bike course is open to traffic.
