The inaugural Guthrie First Capital Sprint Triathlon will be an exciting
opportunity for beginners and veteran triathletes alike. Located in the
historical community of Guthrie, Oklahoma, the location provides easy
access to local athletes and an exciting destination event for those in
the surrounding areas.
Course Information:
This will be a USAT sanctioned course with a 500 meter open water swim in Lake Guthrie.
The 12.5 mile bike course is out and back - no recumbents allowed.
The 5K run is on an out and back course.Directions:
From I-35: Exit on Seward Road and head west for 1 12 miles
until you reach Coltrane road. At that point, turn right and head north
for about 1 14 miles to the event.
From Downtown Guthrie: Travel South on Highway 77 (S. Division Street)
for approximately 3 12 miles until you reach Sooner Road. At Sooner
Road, turn right and head south for about a 1/3 of a mile and turn
right on W. Lake Road. Follow this road for 1 14 miles to the event.
