Ages and Distances1Age Divisions: Juniors (6-10) and Seniors (11-15) (age as of 12/31/2012) Distances: Juniors - Swim 50 yards, Bike 3 miles, Run 1/2 mile Seniors - Swim 100 yards, Bike 6 miles, Run 1 mileAwards and Medals2All finishers will received a finishers medal. Awards will be given out for the top three in each age group.Helmets and Bikes3All helmets and bikes will be quickly inspected for safety. Ultimately this is the parents responsibility. Please make sure your childs helmet fits properly, tires are inflated and that the bike is in proper working order.Sportsmanship4As parents, we understand the excitement that surrounds the event. There are certain rules that your child will be given that we expect to be followed. Please help us make this a safe and fun event for all of the kids by letting the volunteers direct your child on the course.Volunteers5This event could not be held without volunteers. Most of our volunteers have children who are also participating. Please consider having someone from your family volunteer so that your child has the best experience possible. Contact kim @ [email protected] for the best positions available.Bike Course6The Seniors will have to ride 2 LOOPS on the bike course equal to 6 miles. Please help your child preview the course so that they complete both loops.
