This great event is now in its third year! Children are able to experience an introduction to the sport of triathlon in a safe, friendly and welcoming environmentand make great memories at the Y! Children will race in heats determined by age groups. Each heat will cater to the skill level of the child and will include lap(s) in the pool, lap(s) on tricycles or bicycles and finish with lap(s) around the turf field. Each child will go home with a medal, t-shirt and a great memory. A family picnic will follow the event. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Y scholarship fund for those in our community that need assistance to pay for Y programs.

Race format and start times by age group:

9:00am 5 years and under Swim: width of the pool, Bike: about a half a lap, Run: length of the turf field
9:20am 6-7years Swim: 25 meters, Bike: 1 lap, Run: 1 lap
9:40am 8-9years Swim: 50 meters, Bike: 2 laps, Run: 2 laps
10:00am 10-11years Swim: 100 meters, Bike: 3 laps, Run: 3 laps
10:20am 12-13years Swim: 150 meters, Bike: 3 laps, Run: 3 laps
10:40am 14-15years Swim: 200 meters, Bike: 3 laps, Run: 3 laps
