Great season warm-up for experienced triathloners and perfect beginner course for new racers. A really fun race that has kayak instead of a swim!
Course Information:
Course is entirely within the Hillsmere Community and offshore waters. Well protected -- excellent facilitators -- great traffic control. Superbly run race. Details and maps at the following links:

Directions:
From Highway 50 take MD-665/Aris T. Allen Blvd (EXIT 22) toward Riva Rd.
Drive straight about 5 miles to Hillsmere Drive on your right.
Turn RIGHT on Hillsmere and continue to 534 Hillsmere Drive.
Park at Key School. Continue on foot to beach for start of race.
NOTE: Kayakers should first drop kayaks at beach, then return car to Key School.

Race is a fundraiser for metastatic/stage IV breast cancer. Proceeds will go toward research to stop the annual deaths of 41,000 women and men from stage IV breast cancer in the US alone.
