2012 South Wood County YMCA Triathlon:

  • The 18th annual South Wood County YMCA Triathlon will consist of a quarter mile Lake Swim, followed by a 14.5 mile flat and fast bike ride, and a 3.7 mile mostly shaded trail run (some pavement).
  • Post race food/beverage; t-shirt; raflle prizes.
  • Overall and age group awards.
  • Adjacent park, campground and beach areas.

  • 14 mile chilly lake swim in Lake Wazeecha (wetsuits allowed).
  • Small sandy, uphill run to T. area.

  • 14.5 mile bike is flat and fast, out and back.
  • no water stations on bike.
  • No Drafting.
  • Bike racks in paved transition area.

  • 3.7 mile run around the lake is mostly on packed dirt/gravel trail, partly shaded, some pavement, fairly flat.
  • 3 water stations on run.
