2012 Tri TheTrails Off Road Triathlon:

  • This will be the second running of the Tri the Trails sprint off road triathlon.
  • The course is situated on the greenbelt between Palmer and Wasilla AK, right close to where the Glenn and Parks Highways split.
  • The swim will take place in the Matanuska Lake, the bike and run will take place on the trail system. The course is all off road and a good mountain bike will be required.
  • Course Information:

    Length:  Swim: 500m, Bike 20 K, Run 5K  

    Directions:

    The race will start at the Matanuska Lake State Park.

    This is at mile 39.1 of the Glenn Hwy.
     
    It is a little difficult to see the road entering the park.
    It is between the Glenn Hwy and Parks Hwy seperation on the north side of the road.
