This is a fun triathlon for both beginners and veterans alike.
There will also be a lite meal after the race.
Course Information:
The race starts on the north side of Bloomer at the 9th Avenue Park in the water in your kayaks and canoes. A 2.5 mile journey down and back on Bloomer's Como Lake is the first leg of the race.
Once out of the water, the race turns to a 17.5 mile bicycle ride westward into the Bloomer countryside.
There are a few gentle hills throughout this portion as it circles back to the park.
The final leg of the race is a 4 mile run around Lake Como. All three legs of the triathlon start and end at the park.
Directions:
Bloomer, WI is located about 25 miles north of Eau Claire on State Highway 53.
Once off Hwy 53, head east on County Highway 40.
Make a left onto Oak Street and follow that and make another left on 9th Avenue.
Follow for about a mile to the park.
