2012 Wolves Tri - Sprint Triathlon:

  • The 4th annual Wolves Tri is a fundraiser for the NSU cross country and swimming teams.
  • The course is simple and perfect for beginners, and is a great incentive to stay fit over the winter months.
  • We will do our best to have experienced racers start in the same wave.

    • Course Information:


    Swim:
  • 400m indoor straight swim (not snaking), lap counter for each swimmer.
  • Locker rooms available between swim and bike transition.
  • Swimming pool to bike race is approx. 70 meters.

    Bike:
  • Plenty of bike racks available for ample space
  • Bike course is out and back on county highways and very flat
  • Bike to run transition is in same location as swim to bike in the Barnett Center parking lot

    Run:
  • 3 mile run is all on bike paths or residential roads.
  • Also very flat.

    • Directions:


  • The Barnett Center on the NSU campus is located 8 blocks south of 6th Ave. (HWY 12) on State Street in Aberdeen.

    • Other Info:


    After awards have concluded there will be a kids triathlon begining at 3:00pm
  • One length of the pool.
  • Two laps biking around the parking lot. - (Helmets are required)
  • 300 meter run.
