Flying Colors Sports is proud to present the GREAT AMAZING RACE to build healthier and more active families!  Touring all 30 NFL cities in 2012, we are committed to providing kids with opportunities to experience the thrill of running in a fun and exciting atmosphere. The top 25 teams and top 10 grade division teams qualify for the National Championship Race and a chance to win $2,000!

The race is a fun and memory-making activity for adults (parent, grandparent, sibling, mentor, etc.) to do with a kid. From start to finish, it's the most invigorating outdoor activity for families to do together, ever! Whether you run, jog, walk or watch, it'll be an experience you will never forget!  Help us promote awareness and recruit teams by telling your friends, neighbors and co-workers to join in the fun.

WHAT:   Competing in teams of 2 (kid/kid or adult/kid), contestants race around a 1 mile cross country course that includes up to 8 fun-filled stations. The clue cards provided at each station directs the team to perform a task (game, relay, obstacle course, etc.), before proceeding to the next station. The team that completes the tasks and reaches the finish line with the fastest overall time is declared the winner. Contestants should be prepared to get a little dirty and wet - it's part of the fun!

To ensure fairness and safety of all involved, some of the tasks are slightly modified for female and youth participants. Charity tokens can be purchased at any time prior to start of the race. Teams will receive a 1 minute charity token deduction for every additional $5.00 submitted (up to 4 minutes).

The course layout is spectator friendly, to allow family and friends to tag along and take photos for the scrap book. This is a rain or shine event!Racers & spectators can also sign up for the Victory Party ... food & drinks. It's an opportunity to share stories and celebrate with family, friends and other racers!
