Make this your first triathlon of the 2012 racing season! This sprint distance triathlon is great for first timers AND experienced triathletes. Swim in the beautiful Portage Canal, bike the rolling hills of M203 along the water's edge, and run the neighborhoods of Hancock in the heart of Michigan's beautiful Copper Country.
The Yooper Sprint is held during Bridgefest weekend (www.bridgefestfun.com), so come to the Keweenaw a few days early to enjoy family friendly activities all weekend long.
Two-thirds of event profits will be donated to the Copper Country Ski Tigers (www.skitigers.com).
