About The 6th Annual Lowell YMCA Triathlon
Set at Vandenberg Esplanade in Lowell's beautiful redeveloped waterfront area, this race is a great olympic distance triathlon for people new to the distance as well as experienced triathletes. The race is managed by F.I.R.M., the largest race production company in the Northeast.

The Race Course
The swim takes place at Rhynne Beach in the mellow waters of the Merrimac River. It's a two loop swim. The bike course is a fabulous, mostly flat two loop course with a few small risers near the golf course. The run is out and back.
