The 2nd Annual Mankato Mud Run is all about Family Fun!
The Mud Run will take place in Mankato at Loyola High School, on top of Good Counsel Hill. It includes 2 Mud Pits, a creek run, 2 difficult hill climbs, a climbing wall, net climb, log mountain, hay bale climb, tire gauntlet, many other obstacles - and even fog! There is prize money for the top three male and female 5K finishers.
Chip Timing: All races are chip timed.
Race proceeds will go to charity. Last year, proceeds went to the Loyola Booster Club and Team Winter, a charity for Prostate Cancer Research. This year?s charities are not yet decided, as we are waiting to see if Team Winter can be there.
There are two distances: 5K and 3K. The 3K includes all of the same obstacles, but avoids one long hill climb. There is also a Kids Race, 3K distance. Younger participants are encouraged to do the Kids Race as they will go first and be eligible for age group awards. Parents can go with their children in the Kids Race to assist at no extra charge.
New Races: This year there we have added a Family 3K race, and a Company/Business/Corporate 3K race.
