2012 Ultimate Direction Evergreen Sprint Triathlon:

  • Triathlon returns to Evergreen!
  • Not since the Evergreen High Country Triathlon drew athletes and media from around the country in the 90’s has a triathlon been held at the beautiful lake in this small mountain community just 20 minutes from Denver.
  • For the top-3 overall male and female finishers there will be $1,000 in prize money!

    750m Swim/12M Bike/5k Run:

    Swim:
  • The Ultimate Direction Evergreen Sprint Triathlon gets started with a brisk 750 meter swim in Evergreen Lake.

    Bike:
  • Next, an amazing 12 mile bike ride that starts alongside Bear Creek before the scenic and challenging climb up Witter Gulch and Stagecoach.
  • It will all be worth it as you make quick time down the final 5 mile return trip to the lake.

    Run:
  • From there, a scenic 5K run.
