2012 Mountain Duathlon:

  • The third annual Mountain Duathlon at Coopers Rock State Forest should ba an exciting event that will challenge competitors of all levels with a 2-mile trail run, 8-mile mountain bike, and a second 2-mile trail run.
  • This event is open to participants age 14 and older.
  • All participants will be required to sign the appropriate race waiver at race check-in.
  • Participants under the age of 18 will also be required to have their parent or legal guardian sign that they are granting permission for the minor to enter the event.
  • Please note that there is NO Rain Date. We will race rain or shine.
  • Entry fees are non-refundable for any reason.

    • Course Information:


  • Start with a 2 mile trail run.
  • Followed by an 8 mile mountain bike ride.
  • Finish with another 2-mile trail run,

    • Directions:


    Coopers Rock State Forest:
  • Registration/check-in will be held at the Coopers Rock overlook pavilion at the far end of the main park road.

  • All pre-registrants are guaranteed a custom event t-shirt!
  • Late registrants will receive t-shirts as long as supplies allow.
  • Delicious post-event food and beverages will be provided.
