Triathlon : Swim 600 yards. bike 16 miles, run 3.2 miles
  • Race Date: Saturday, June 16, 2012
  • Start Time: 8:00 AM
  • Entry Fee:Individual $35 before 6 AM June 8, $45 before 12:01 AM June 16th $55 uptil 7 AM morning of race day. Teams $45, $55 and $65 with same time restrictions as individuals
  • Location:north shore of Lake Alvin
  • Address: 4 miles east of Harrisburgh, SD or 9 miles southeast of Sioux Falls

Course Information:


Swim:
  • Swim is out in back in Lake Alvin with rope and buoys in place to separte out and back; inner tubes also in place for safety, along with rescue boats.
  • Lake is in a bowl and is well protected from wind.

    Bike:
  • Bike route is out and back with some small hills; well-marked route.

    Run:
  • Run is out and back with one long gradual hill going out but return is downhill.

    Transistion:
  • Transistion area is in the parking lot on the north shore of Lake Alvin.

    • Directions:



  • Lake Alvin is 9 miles southeast of Sioux Falls or 4 miles east of Harrisburg, SD.
