The Race Course
The swim is up and down 8 lanes of the Atkinson Pool for a total of 400 yards. It's a time trial start for the swim with swimmers going off one at a time. Your start time is based up the estimated swim you enter in the registration form with the fastest swimmers going off first. Try to be as accurate as possible with your estimated swim time even practicing swimming 400 yards in a pool ahead of time and using that as your estimated time.
The bike is a 3.5 mile loop that is pretty flat. You do the bike loop twice before heading off on the run which includes some quality time on a nice dirt running path.
