Description: This challenge can be done in relay teams of 2 or 3 or by Race Director approval, a select 25 will race solo. Unlike any other race in WA state, this course combines stand up paddle boarding in Puget Sound, a combination beach/trail run and an epic mountain bike ride through the newly re-groomed trails of Kingston & the surrounding areas.
Course Info:

CHALLENGE 1:

As you make your way out of Apple Tree Cove to Indianola, you will continue south along the peninsula. You’ll be moving with the tide, and if the wind is also working in your favor, you’ll fly. If you experience a head wind, you’ll have more time to enjoy the views and sea life. There will be lot’s of staff on the water to help you take a break along the way. You may hold onto any of the staff boats for a break as long as it doesn’t result in forward motion.

Distance:  10k

CHALLENGE 2:

If you like a challenge, this run course is made for you. After you finish about a 1 mile run on the beach, you will begin your trail run up to the White Horse Golf Course. Sand, dirt, roots, stairs and rocks, do you have what it takes?

Distance: 12k

CHALLENGE 3:

The local trails have received a lot of love from our charity, NKTA. The trails are well maintained and offer something for everyone. This course has a nice mix of single tracks and ups and downs and there may be a few “hike-a-bike” sections just to keep it interesting.

Distance: 12k
