Description: The Sixth Annual Capital City Biathlon will be held on May 26, 2012 starting at 7:30AM.
The event will be held at Lake Springfield Beach House in Springfield, Illinois. An event for all ages, this race features a 3.1 mile run with on turn followed by a 15 mile bike ride along Lake Springfield and the rolling prairie.
An awards ceremony will start after the last bike crosses the finish line.
This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon.
Participants receive a race T shirt, top shelf finisher medals and a post race party.
The race is chip timed with results posted to the web at the conclusion of the race.
Course Info: Racers start with a 3.1 mile run followed by a 15 mile bike ride.
Directions:
Lake Springfield Beach House is the race headquarters. The Beach House is located south of Springfield, Illinois and is located east of I-55 off of Toronto Rd
