2011-2012 Holiday Indoor Triathlon Series :
Become a triathlete in 60 minutes!
Our Indoor Triathlon Series is a fun challenge that will appeal to everyone – seasoned triathletes to first-timers.
You set your own pace.
All of the action takes place in one convenient, weatherproof location – the Clark Sports Center!
Here is how the one- hour race against the clock breaks down:
10 minute swim in the lap pool
30 minute bike ride in aerobic studio
20 minute run on the indoor track

A point standings will be kept throughout the series, and series awards will be presented to first-place point winners in all specific age categories as well as over-all high point winners. You must complete at least 4 Indoor Triathlon events in 2011-2012 to be eligible for awards.
An overall winner will be announced at each individual event.
Points will be awarded each month in each age group.
$15 – members / $25 – non-members Return Participants : $10 – members / $25 – non-members
*These events will lead up to the following events that the Clark Sports Center will be hosting:
Duathlon – Saturday May 12
Outdoor Triathlon (pool swim) - June – date to be set
The Race: At your designated time you will begin with a ten minute swim in our lap pool. Shift gears and spend the next thirty minutes on our spin bikes on the gym floor. Then race toward the finish line with twenty minutes on the indoor running track. *No clips will be allowed on the bike portion of the race.
The Transitions: You are allowed ten minutes to safely change from the pool to the gym floor and five minutes to move from the gym floor to the indoor track.
The Scores: You will bring a volunteer with you who will count your laps in the pool and laps on the track! The more distance you cover, the higher your score.

All participants must be 18 or older.
Sneakers must be worn on the Spinning bikes. No cycling cleats allowed.
Each participant is required to bring a volunteer to count laps in the pool and laps on the track.
