    OLYMPIC Course

    Swim – 1.5K

    Beach, WAVE Start. Triangle Swim – 2 loops.

    Wetsuit legal – Cap supplied at packet pickup must be worn during swim and not taken off until in Transition Area. Goggles are allowed but not required. All USAT rules apply for the swim portion of the event.

    Relatively Flat & Fast – 2 Loop Course.

    Out through the Recreational Area and over the Dam. Dam road is rough pavement. Turn right off Dam Road and take NM-22 - turn right at NM-16 and back into entrance to the Recreational Area. Turn right on Dam Rd – complete 2nd loop. Return to the Boat Dock Transition Area. All USAT rules apply for the bike portion of the event.

    Run – 10K

    Flat and Fast – Out & Back.

    Out through the Recreational Area and out onto the Dam Road – back to finish. All athletes are required to wear race numbers at all times during the run. Numbers must face the front and be clearly visible at all times. Numbers may not be cut or folded or altered in any way. All USAT rules apply for the run portion of the event.

    Swim – 400m

    From Albuquerque:

    Take I-25 North towards Santa Fe. Take exit 259 for NM-22 turn left. Drive 12 miles – Dam will be on your right. Turn right into the Cochiti Lake Recreational Area. Pass by the Visitor Center & Administration Office. Follow signs to the Boat Ramp area for parking.

    From Santa Fe:

    Take I-25 South towards Albuquerque. Take exit 259 for NM-22 turn right. Drive 12 miles – Dam will be on your right. Turn right into the Cochiti Lake Recreational Area. Pass by the Visitor Center & Administration Office. Follow signs to the Boat Ramp area for parking.
