Description:

Max-O-Mania makes its return to Innsbrook Resort in 2012. Innsbrook has proven itself to be an incredibly attractive multi-sport venue. Innsbrook will play host to Quartermax and Max-O-Mania on the same weekend. Innsbrook Resort is located just minutes from St. Louis, Missouri and offers both a beautiful and challenging multi-sport venue. The Quartermax and Octomax Triathlons have traditionally been two of Ultramax Sports' most popular multi-sport properties.

In 2012, Max-O-Mania will be incorporated into the Quartermax/Octomax race weekend. Max-O-Mania made its debut in 2004 and was a personal favorite of Ultramax Sports owner, Mark Livesay. He actually raced as part of a 2-person team in the two years it was offered. We will have to see if he can get in shape to repeat that performance in 2012! We would not recommend partnering with him...

Ultramax is so excited to bring back this event in a new 2-day format. The festival-type atmosphere that surrounds the Quartermax Triathlon will be the perfect backdrop to stage the Max-O-Mania event. Max-O-Mania participants will race a Prologue on Friday, Saturday alongside the Quartermax Triathlon, and then finish up with the grand finale third race on Saturday afternoon. Max-o-Mania will allow athletes the opportunity to experience “True Team Racing”. This kind of racing cannot be found in the traditional one day, one event. The race itself is a 2-Day, 3-Event Multi-Sport Extravaganza. Entrants will compete as solo or 2-person male, female, or co-ed teams. Teams will be further divided into three age combination classifications - Under 60 Years Old, 60-80 Years Old, Over 80 Years Old.
